KidZone Museum is a Blue Star Museum. Active duty military members and U.S. veterans with valid military or veteran ID receive free admission year-round. This complimentary admission applies to the cardholder only. For special events, active duty military and veterans also receive discounted (member) pricing.
We are committed to respecting and supporting Native American communities and their enduring heritage. Members of a local Native American tribe receive free admission to the museum with a tribal ID.

* SNAP EBT cardholders from any U.S. state participating in the Museums for All program are eligible for $5 admission per person (up to 4 people per card) during public hours (10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.). Please note: P-EBT and WIC cards are not accepted for this program.
Families living in Nevada County who need financial assistance can apply for a scholarship membership. This includes a 1-year membership with benefits for up to 8 people in the same household, along with access to member-only hours and additional museum discounts.
Discounts & Scholarships
- Museums for All: Non-local visitors with an EBT card receive $5 admission during public hours (10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.).
