Let your kid communicate through art and have some good, Family Fun Friday!

Friday, April 14 - Scented Spring Playdough
This Scented Spring Play Dough has a beautiful smelling fragrance of flowers and flecks of colored flower petals to bring together some of the wonderful elements of spring time. Come and learn how to make this project at home! Children will get to discover soft and smooth texture of the playdough, and develop fine motor skills.

Friday, April 21 - Wax Paper Art
Explore wax paper, shaved crayon and heat to create your own stain glass effect. Children will discover concepts around color, form, texture, heat and melt.

Friday, April 28 - Spring Sensory Exploration
Sensory play includes any activity that stimulates your young child’s senses: touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Sensory activities facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate and explore. Spending time stimulating their senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively.

Friday, May 5 - Clothespin Butterfly
Join us for this fun spring project. These tissue paper clothespin butterflies are easy to make, but they will provide children with fine motor development, sensory fun and an all-time favorite activity – stamping!

Friday, May 12 - Marker Explosion
We will make stunning firework like explosions and create tie dye flags by dissolving permanent markers with small quantities of rubbing alcohol. You cannot miss this fabulous activity!!!

Friday, May 19 - Bird Feeders
Making bird feeders with children is a great activity to get them outside and loving nature. Adults and children love making bird feeders together and then sitting back to see which birds come. Feeding and watching birds could be a special learning time for the whole Family to enjoy nature!

Friday, May 26 - Literacy Sensory Exploration
Adding sensory engaging activities to books can really bring a favorite story to life, encourage play independently and with others, develop language skills, work on early learning skills, and satisfy the senses of a young child. Many young children learn with their whole body and attend better when there are more outlets of sensory processing. Come and join us for some literature-sensory fun!
