About Your Membership with ACM Reciprocal Network Benefits

Congratulations, you’ve purchased a membership with ACM Reciprocal Network benefits. This voluntary network of ACM member museums across the U.S. and Canada offer discounted admission to one another’s members that hold premium family memberships. Almost 200 museums participate and each provides 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people each time you visit.

Finding Museums Participating in the ACM Reciprocal Network

At the museum where you purchased your membership with ACM Reciprocal Network benefits, you should have received a brochure listing all museums currently participating in the Network.
Museums participating in the ACM Reciprocal Network are also listed on the ACM Web site, www.ChildrensMuseums.org. Click on the Search Now button under Find a Children’s Museum. For easy reference, this web address is part of the Reciprocal logo on your membership card. You will see that some museums have a red R button on the same parallel line as their name listing — this symbol indicates that the institution participates in the ACM Reciprocal Network.
Museums without the red R symbol on the same parallel line as their name listing means that families who visit that institution will be asked to pay full daily admission or purchase a museum membership.
Remember, not all ACM member museums participate in the Reciprocal Program.
Call the destination museum to verify participation before you visit. During the year, the list of participating museums may change. While ACM makes every effort to post updates to its Web site as soon as possible, it is always a good idea to call ahead before visiting.

ACM Reciprocal Network Admission Policies for Families

A family must present its valid Family Membership Card with ACM Reciprocal Network benefits (indicated by the Network logo) to receive discounted admission at museums participating in the ACM Reciprocal Network.
The card holder must be present with other individuals. (Photo ID may be requested to verify identity.)
Reciprocal admission discount does not extend to special exhibits, but to general admission only.
Reciprocal privileges do not extend to discounts for gift shop or café purchases, museum special events, programs, parking, summer camps or birthday parties.

Family Membership Cards

A valid Family Membership Card with ACM Reciprocal Network benefits should include:
The ACM Reciprocal logo (in color).
An expiration date on the card that has not passed.
The name of at least one adult family member on the card(s) issued.

Local Restrictions

As of April 1, 2013, local restrictions do not apply. There is one consistent Reciprocal admission policy across the network: 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people.
